Why not why? This small three letter word has such power! It can be the start of many interesting topics of conversation and discussion. It can spark deeper and more creative thinking, forcing the person who's asked been why to think about their answer and explain their reasoning or way of thinking. It can be like a spark to the dynamite that causes everything to explode.
Some of the greatest things accomplished in history happened because someone dared to ask why. Maybe they weren't happy with an answer they were given or decided to challenge a cultural norm. Whatever it was, the three letter word 'why' was what made all the difference.
And that's why I named my blog Why. Ever since I was little, I've asked why and that habit has carried through with me into adulthood. I'm the type of person who goes for a
blood test and asks the nurse all sort of questions about what she's
doing and why she does this or that (what can I say, I have a curious
mind). I'm also the type of person who will look at the way things in this world work and ask myself why it's done that way. Why do things the accepted way just because everyone else is, for example.
Asking why is a great thing to ask. Searching for answers and finding them is even better. But what you do with those answers is what makes all the difference in the world. But why is the start. It's the fuse, the match, the spark. It's the start.
So come on. I dare you to come along on this journey with me and ask why. You never know what you may discover and learn.
