About the Author

Let's skip the boring bio stuff and get right into an in depth interview about who the author of Why is.

Who writes Why?
Rebekah Brielle, a chronic why asker.

Is that her favorite word?
No, but she does ask it a lot. It was most likely the first question she ever asked.

What else does Rebekah Brielle like to do besides ask why?
Why do you ask? She enjoys a whole range of things. In fact, she likes to say she actually has WAY too many interests... and the repercussions of that means she rarely gets time to do any of them because she can never decide which one to do.

You didn't answer my previous question...
True. Rebekah Brielle enjoys writing (major shocker), reading, the outdoors, singing, making people laugh, eating, horseback riding, acting, helping others, photography, being with friends, cooking, baking, crocheting, watching movies, sewing, neurology, science, animals, exploring... the list goes on. Told you she had a lot of interests.

How old is Rebekah Brielle?
Twenty.

What does she do?
As in, what does she do for a living? At the moment, Rebekah Brielle is a child caregiver (some people call that a nanny...) and loves her job. In the future though, she's hoping to get into the voice over and perhaps acting industry. She'd also really like to publish a bestseller... one day.

Is Rebekah Brielle her real name?
Sort of. It started out as a nom de plume, but over the years it's kind of become a part of her identity and who she is, online anyway.

Where does she live?
Planet Earth, North America, Canada... and that's all you'll ever know.

Is Rebekah Brielle religious?
That's a really personal question but the answer is no. She does however, believe in God and try to live by the Golden Rule.

What sorts of things does she want to accomplish in life?
A lot of things! When she's old and has to sit on her butt all day in a recliner, Rebekah Brielle wants to look back over her life and reminisce over all the wonderful experiences and adventures she had. Most of all though, she wants to live a happy and fulfilled life making a positive impact in the world and enjoying the time that she has been given here on earth.

Optimist or pessimist?
The capitalized one (generally; sometimes she can have her pessimistic moments too).

What does Rebekah Brielle look like?
This:

But this...

...is how she looks when she doesn't like the answer to one of her why's.
